Dreams stop at the word IMPOSSIBLE!

I am married to a dreamer. I LOVE being married to a dreamer... most of the time! 

Occasionally, over the past 20 yrs, I have been guilty of occasionally being a dream squasher! Until I learned how it affects a dreamer. It absolutely deflates them but more importantly, it can hinder what God is wanting to do.  Not only is my husband a dreamer, He is a man of faith and action!

God really does specialize in things man thinks are impossible!

Matthew 19:26 says, "Jesus looked at them and said, ‘With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.'
So if you are a dreamer be careful who you share your dreams with... and if you are married to a dreamer make sure you don't hinder what God is wanting to accomplish! Not only that, do yourself and your marriage a favor and commit to the dream.  Your marriage and ministry will absolutely never be the same.

You are sooo right-- about if you're a dreamer be careful who you share your dreams with. I'm going through a situation right now with a dream-squasher, and it's just not cool. Makes me feel sad that I shared this particular dream with a close female relative of mine who has consistently made comment after comment in an attempt to crush my dream. *sigh* I'm sure she thinks she's treating me with love by "bringing me back to reality" but it's difficult when people argue with you about what God has told you to do. Thank you for your post. Dreamers need reminders that not everyone "gets" their dreams. :)

Be careful who you tell your dreams to!

I went with my son recently to see a production of Joseph and the Amazing Coat at a local community college. As I sat in the dark theater and watched the young men in the production, one of the lessons in the first part of the story hit me fresh and clear. God's time is the right time!

This morning I got up ready for my new healthy lifestyle! I drank a big glass of water and took my vitamin, exercised, walked the dog and made a healthy breakfast. As I sat down to eat, a wave of nausea came over me and I began to shake and sweat. After I threw my healthy breakfast in the trash, I realized what had happened: I had taken my vitamin on an empty stomach. No, it didn't make me feel better this morning, but hopefully I won't make that mistake again. Now for the spiritual application.... There is an order for what God has for our lives just as there is an order for taking things like vitamins. This morning, I got ahead of myself. Life Choices

One fine Sunday morning, a man was walking with his family to church when he heard an awful commotion coming from behind the church. He sent his family on it and went to see what was going on. To his surprise, he saw the devil sitting on the ground moaning and crying something awful. "What in the world is wrong with you?" he asked the devil. "You won't believe what they're blaming me for in there." was his answer. Now, I know this story has A LOT of faulty theology but stay with me as I make my point!
